Hot off the press (straight from the OB)

We are pleased to announce that Baby C is a...

My interpretation of the above ultrasound: Two thighs, and the word "GIRL" pasted where the dangly bits would go if she were a he. (And, boy howdy, do ultrasounds do funny things to babies--where are the rest of her legs?)

Ol' Blue

Jaxon visited the Orthopedist yesterday and after many, many, many tears... he is now wingless, and sports a sleek, streamlined blue cast (the gentlemen that put the cast on chose the color, as Jaxon was in no mood to care what color of material they were going to "hurt" him with). He slept much better last night, and didn't even require a dose of Tylenol until he woke up this morning, that's how bad his cast hurts him. He will be the owner of this new weapon for 3-4 weeks, then we will go back to Dr. Hurts-Jaxon-Alot and have his arm amputated. Without anesthesia. And Jaxon will not get a sucker, two stickers and a little plastic alien when it's all said and done.

A Pterodactyl no more.
