Ol' Blue

Jaxon visited the Orthopedist yesterday and after many, many, many tears... he is now wingless, and sports a sleek, streamlined blue cast (the gentlemen that put the cast on chose the color, as Jaxon was in no mood to care what color of material they were going to "hurt" him with). He slept much better last night, and didn't even require a dose of Tylenol until he woke up this morning, that's how bad his cast hurts him. He will be the owner of this new weapon for 3-4 weeks, then we will go back to Dr. Hurts-Jaxon-Alot and have his arm amputated. Without anesthesia. And Jaxon will not get a sucker, two stickers and a little plastic alien when it's all said and done.

A Pterodactyl no more.

Oh, I feel for you! That happened to Briley and it was miserable! Wait till it starts to smell!! Briley would push kids around with her cast and sometimes I think she still wishes she had it. Hang in there Jaxson. By the way Heather- we (me and my girls) are praying youhave a girl to join you in using kleenex to wipe your nose!! Love Ya!

I agree with Alisha! After a week or so, those casts start to stink! And they look pretty gnarly too! Ah, the joys of a broken bone. The blue is a nice color though.
